Well like I said I think he was claiming scarecrow so would take back seat if we got a lead on Brainiac or Lex.

Do we think he might be doctored? I don't know. Scarecrow might be the doctor, a bus driver, or maybe the silence. Rokk didn't seem surprised by the silencer. It might work in our favor to keep a silencer in there. Is silencer typically a Mafia or Neutral power? Would it make Grinner look town if folks acknowledge that he was a target? |

Stranger can pretend to be silenced for awhile, but the silencer is going to know he wasn't silenced. So that is pretty much a dead give away. We probably need him to fake claim during this phase.

I disagree, there is all sorts of misdirection in this game, that the silencer wont automatically know that they got the right target.
That being said, I'm thinking there are two silencers, as since Silver's action was doubled I don't see there being another power like that in the game (ie to make a double silencer).
In short, it's not a dead giveaway.
Now that being said, yes I am pretending to be silenced since I have heat on me.
If Grinner doesn't mind, and if I have to, I'll claim that I was the one silenced instead.
Grinner didn't post that much either in the first phase so he can claim he's busy.
If that doesn't pan out, we need some fake claims and soon.

I agree Stranger but we are SOL in any event if the 13 townies are all the entire LoD... I'm pretty sure Normal had more foresight than that, right NV?  Anyways, I think Mytzlplx is a pretty good claim. I remember him in the superfriends a good deal. We also need a neutral claim since that might fly if the numbers get low. |

Agreed.
I also think (as you just pointed out in the thread) that if I get too overwhelmed I can claim that I am a blocker in the next day phase, and that I blocked the first night's kill.
Or anyone else if they develop more heat than me.
I can also claim I chose Morph to block, putting it on him in the next day phase (since he and Grinner are the actual ones silenced) and that would discredit any claim he makes of being silenced in the first place.

Looks like the heat has calmed down a bit on Stranger. Since they think he's silenced they have let up.
As far as fake claims goes, I think the best 2 are Mxyplk and Darkseid. However one or both of them could be Neutrals in the game, and then we've got to figure out which of the LOD are missing.
And the Double Silence I was thinking could have been done like the double MD that Grinner got. Grinner, did you play the drinking game and submit an answer for that? I was thinking the double MD could have been a bonus from that and that whoever did the Silence did the same thing.

Well that does toss things around a bit, but misdirection is always an easy out for explaining the whole, "but no I targeted ___ to be silenced, not you!"

Also the elaborate device guy is probably Braniac and he's probably an inventor. I thought the elaborate device guy was Batman. veguto Batman (mafia) Also, if you make the night kill for your team you do it with STYLE! Who needs super powers when you've got all these cool gadgets and ropes and stuff. Now it may take you a little while, sure, but you alway catch your man. Essentially, if you are given the NK, your target won't die until the NEXT night phase, but your kill can't be blocked or misdirected. |

I was thinking Desaad. Darkseid was the main baddie for a whole season, and I recall Seanbaby making fun of him so I wouldn't be surprised if he is in the game... Maybe a neutral with a win condition that involves capturing Wonder woman. LOL
